The Molecular Genetics laboratory offers the latest technology in Gene Expression Analysis. We offers quantitative gene expression studies of nearly any gene. Our Gene expression Analysis Unit has the most advanced techniques in this field, such as the Bioanalyzer 2100 of Agilent Technologies and the 7000 Sequence Detection System of Applied Biosystems.

Lab-on-a-chip Technology:
• Total and messenger RNA quantification and quality parameters calculation of scanty biological samples
     - 12 samples (minimum 25 ng / µl) :
     - 11 samples (minimum 0,2 ng / µl) :
• DNA fragments and/or PCR products up to 1000 bp. (minimum 0,5 ng / µl) detection and quantification.
(Maximum salt concentration: 25mM KCl/NaCl and 15 mM MgCl2)
Quantitative PCR (Real Time PCR):
• Amplicon detection per sample per in triplicate:
     - From cDNA:
     - From RNA:
     - From cells:
     - From biopsies:
• Special projects
• Specific primers design and request
PROTOCOL DELIVERY

The customer must send the samples with the attached form completely filled and in the following conditions:

• RNA --> Dry ice
• cDNA --> 4ºC
• Biopsies or cells --> Dry ice

Dominion Pharmakine recommends that primers are sent at a minimum concentration of 20 µM with the samples at the time of ordering the quantitative PCR service. Otherwise, specific primers design and request will be invoiced.

RESULTS

Lab-on-a-chip: Electropherogram images and resultant numeric data will be sent in two or five working days from the reception of the sample.

RT-PCR: Amplification curves images and numeric data will be sent in three to five working days (cDNA), six days (RNA) and nine days (cell and tissue biopsies).
