| The Cellular Biology Laboratory
offers the technology of Flow Cytometry, that can be used to assess the immunophenotype
of cell types, specific cell receptor(s), expression of surface and intracellular
antigens, etc … Our Flow Cytometry Unit has the Becton Dickinson FACS-Vantage
which is equipped with an Argon Laser with UV beam output in parallel with a 488nm
beam. It can detect several parameters in analysis or sorting mode: Forward scatter,
Side scatter and fluorescent dyes, such as FITC, PE, Percp or Percp-Cy5.5. It
also has an Automatic Cell Deposition Unit (ACDU) that sorts a predefined number
of cells into individual wells of a 96 or 24-well microtiter plate. |
